The funds are allocated for two main priority programs, namely the procurement of personal protective equipment (APD) for health workers and free food for communities with pandemic affected economies. With these two programs, LPPOM MUI channeled these humanitarian funds to two philanthropic institutions.

First, to the humanitarian organization Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) in the amount of Rp.50,000,000 with details of the use of Rp30,000,000 for the procurement of APD for medical workers and Rp20,000,000 for food aid to communities with epidemic-affected economies.

Secondly, the Islamic Da’wah Fund of the Indonesian Ulema Council (IDF MUI) amounting to Rp29,545,445. All funds provided are used for food aid for people affected by the plague.

“The target of the fundraising is not the nominal funds collected, but the maximum participation of LPPOM MUI in fighting COVID-19, “said Delmar Zakaria Firdaus, Corporate Communication & International Relations Asistant Manager as well as the Coronavirus LPPOM MUI Crisis Center Team. (*)
