The article mentions that the new office of the Indonesian Council of Ulama (MUI) is located at the office of the Japan Indonesia Trading Association (JITA), a Tokyo-based non-profit organization that promotes trade between the two countries. It also mentioned that in handling applications for halal certification, a team of 10 auditors will examine the materials used in products and manufacturing equipment to determine compliance.
In response to this, the President Director of LPPOM MUI, Ir. Muti Arintawati, M.Si said that JITA is not a representative office of LPPOM MUI, but a partner of LPPOM MUI to help Japanese companies who want to get the halal certificate from Indonesia.
“JITA is not the first and only body in Japan who becomes a partner of LPPOM MUI,” said Muti.
The information circulating regarding the MUI halal certification of companies in Japan must go through JITA, LPPOM MUI will place auditors in Japan, and the President Director of LPPOM MUI sitting as JITA administrator is also not true.
LPPOM MUI is the first and most trusted Halal Certification Body in Indonesia which exists as a credible halal certification body, both at the national and international levels. 記事によると、インドネシアウラマー評議会（以下MUIという）の新しい事務所は、東京に本拠を置き、両国間の貿易を促進する非営利団体である日本インドネシア貿易協会（JITA）の事務所にある。また、ハラール認証の申請を処理する際に、10人の監査チームが製品や製造装置に使用されている材料を調べてコンプライアンスを判断することにも言及した。
これに対して、LPPOM MUIの社長であるIr. Muti Arintawati、M.Siは、「JITAはLPPOM MUIの駐在員事務所ではなく、インドネシアからハラール認定証を取得したい日本企業を支援するLPPOM MUIのパートナーである」と述べた。
「JITAは、LPPOM MUIのパートナーとなった日本で最初で唯一の機関ではありません」とMuti氏は強調している。
