Perkuat Sinergi dan Integritas, LPH LPPOM Jawa Tengah Dorong Kualitas Layanan Halal Berkelanjutan

Amid the rapid growth of halal inspection bodies, LPH LPPOM Central Java reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining integrity, synergy, and service quality as a manifestation of its responsibility to provide peace of mind for the Muslim community.

More than forty members of the Halal Inspection Body (LPH) LPPOM Central Java gathered in a warm and harmonious atmosphere. This moment was not merely a post-Eid al-Fitr gathering, but also served as a strategic platform to strengthen synergy between the halal inspection body, Islamic scholars, and all stakeholders in Central Java.

The meeting, held in Semarang on Saturday, April 25, 2026, was attended by various key elements, including employees, halal auditors, board of directors, halal officer partners, and invited guests from the Majelis Ulama Indonesia Central Java. The presence of these diverse elements reflects a shared commitment to maintaining the quality of halal inspection services while strengthening the rapidly growing halal ecosystem in Indonesia.

The President Director of LPH LPPOM, Muti Arintawati, stated that LPPOM personnel are selected individuals entrusted with a significant responsibility, namely to provide peace of mind for the Muslim community through the halal product inspection process. This task goes beyond administrative aspects and carries a broader responsibility toward public trust.

Muti Arintawati also expressed appreciation to LPH LPPOM Central Java for its consistency in maintaining service quality and achievements, both at the institutional level and among individual auditors. In particular, she highlighted the achievement of three halal auditors from Central Java who successfully ranked among the Top 15 Regional Auditor of The Year 2025 organized by LPPOM Headquarters. This accomplishment serves as clear evidence that LPPOM’s human resources are capable of competing and being recognized at the national level.

Amid the increasingly dynamic halal industry, Muti also emphasized the importance of maintaining competitiveness. “With more than 125 Halal Inspection Bodies (LPH) now present in Indonesia, LPPOM is required to continuously adapt and innovate. She stressed that competition must be conducted in a healthy manner, while upholding integrity, proper audit principles, and excellent service quality,” she stated.

Furthermore, Muti highlighted that services emphasizing professionalism, reliability, synergy, and customer satisfaction orientation are key to maintaining public trust.

Beyond this event, LPH LPPOM Central Java also demonstrated its commitment to capacity building through the Auditor Refreshment program held on Sunday, April 26, 2026. This activity represents a concrete step in ensuring that auditors remain updated on continuously evolving halal regulations in Indonesia.

The Director of LPH LPPOM Central Java, Ahmad Rofiq, also expressed appreciation to all auditors who have consistently contributed to maintaining service quality. At the provincial level, three auditors from Central Java also received the Auditor of The Year 2025 award. This achievement further strengthens Central Java’s position as one of the regions with outstanding halal inspection performance.

“LPH LPPOM Central Java’s commitment to regulatory compliance is also reflected in efforts to ensure that all auditors possess competency certificates. This is a crucial aspect considering that auditors are the frontline in the halal product inspection process. Standardized competence not only guarantees the quality of audit results but also strengthens business actors’ trust in the halal certification system,” explained Prof. Ahmad Rofiq.

He emphasized that amid the challenges posed by the rapid growth of halal inspection bodies, LPPOM continues to maintain its advantage as a pioneer with decades of experience. However, this experience does not lead LPPOM to complacency. Instead, continuous innovation is carried out to improve service quality and expand its contribution to the development of the national halal ecosystem.

Through this momentum, LPH LPPOM Central Java not only strengthened solidarity but also reaffirmed its commitment to continuously providing professional, high-integrity, and trustworthy halal inspection services. This represents a tangible effort to uphold its mandate and deliver peace of mind to the Muslim community. (DILA/ed.YN)
