The Indonesian Council of Ulama (MUI) of Bangka Belitung Province, in collaboration with LPPOM Bangka Belitung, organized the Super Semar initiative as a form of social care during the month of Ramadan. Through this activity, MUI and LPPOM Babel shared happiness with 40 orphans and underprivileged individuals while strengthening ties with regional partners.

Ramadan serves as a meaningful moment to reinforce social care and solidarity within the community. The Indonesian Council of Ulama (MUI) of Bangka Belitung Province together with LPPOM Bangka Belitung successfully held the Suasana Pererat Silaturahmi Semarak Makna Ramadhan (Super Semar) event with 40 orphans and underprivileged individuals. This initiative reflects that LPPOM is not only focused on halal certification activities but also strives to deliver meaningful social contributions to the community.

This activity demonstrates the commitment of MUI Babel and LPPOM Babel to creating broader societal impact, not only through services and strengthening the halal ecosystem, but also through tangible social care initiatives during the holy month of Ramadan by sharing with orphans and those in need.

In welcoming the blessed month of Ramadan, LPPOM Babel organized the Super Semar event on March 11, 2026. Carrying the theme “Welcoming Ramadan with Kindness, Sharing Happiness with 40 Orphans and the Underprivileged,” the event featured charitable activities and social engagement aimed at spreading joy and strengthening social solidarity during the holy month.

The Director of Halal Inspection Body (LPH) LPPOM Bangka Belitung, Muhammad Ihsan, S.T.P., M.Si., expressed his gratitude in his remarks and hoped that the Super Semar event would bring blessings to the entire community of Bangka Belitung.

“We would like to express our deepest appreciation and gratitude to all partners from seven regencies/cities in Bangka Belitung who have consistently provided support and contributions in the success of every program and activity of MUI Babel and LPPOM Babel,” said Ihsan.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of MUI Bangka Belitung, Prof. Dr. KH Hatamar Rasyid, M.Ag., expressed his appreciation for the successful implementation of Super Semar 1447 H.

“This activity is highly relevant in strengthening the performance of MUI Babel and LPPOM Babel in building halal literacy and serving the community as a whole. It reinforces their role in safeguarding the Muslim community in aspects such as food, beverages, clothing, and even maintaining faith,” he stated.

He also emphasized the importance of continuously strengthening strategic partnerships between MUI Bangka Belitung, LPPOM Bangka Belitung, the government, and other stakeholders. According to him, synergy between religious leaders and the government is key to building a harmonious society and delivering broader benefits to the community, nation, and state.

Ramadan reminds us of the importance of strengthening solidarity and social care within society. Through this initiative, LPPOM Bangka Belitung hopes to inspire more parties to take part in meaningful actions that benefit others.

With a growing spirit of sharing, it is hoped that more people will realize that kindness is not merely an obligation but a reflection of humanity and faith. LPPOM remains committed to encouraging sustainable social initiatives so that the spirit of giving and compassion continues to thrive within society.

LPPOM continues its commitment to delivering value to the Indonesian community. One of the ongoing programs is the Festival Syawal, which focuses on facilitating halal certification for Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) as part of LPPOM’s support for increasing the number of halal products. In the future, halal products are expected to expand both nationally and globally, providing peace of mind for consumers in consuming halal products.

This year, the Festival Syawal, themed “Halal Raw Material Stores: The First Step Toward Resilient MSMEs,” features a series of activities, including free halal certification facilitation for raw material stores (tobaku) as well as halal outreach and education across Indonesia. This spirit is expected to continue bringing positive impact to the Indonesian community. (ZUL)
