Currently, halal food has become a trend and a contemporary lifestyle. Many parties have paid attention to the halalness of a product, especially in the culinary field.

On the same occasion, the CEO of PT Martabak Pizza Orins, Sonny Arca Adryanto, expressed his gratitude for achieving the halal certificate. He thanked BPJPH and LPPOM for cooperating in the fast and efficient halal certification process. Through halal certification, Martabak Pizza Orins can meet the needs and satisfaction of customers in terms of product halalness.
“As the pioneer of the first pizza-shaped martabak in Indonesia, we maintain the quality to the utmost so that the food is by its halalness. Our outlets, totalling 89 and spread across 17 cities, cannot buy their ingredients because we send them from the centre. Including those filled with meat, because all can be traced from the cutting, storage, and presentation, so its halalness can be guaranteed,” explained Sony.
He explained that Martabak Pizza Orins has implemented a halal guarantee system with a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) that is strictly and consistently maintained when implementing halal guarantees, such as checking the quality of all raw materials and the manufacturing process. Starting with flour, margarine, cheese, meat, and others. “Our supplier partners are also required to guarantee the halalness of their products and carry out direct checks by a special review team that has been assigned. That way, in addition to the special taste, both the egg and sweet versions, halal also needs to be considered an added value to our customers,” said Sony.
For those of you who have food and beverage products that do not yet have halal certification, immediately register your products and choose LPH LPPOM to carry out halal checks to meet the regulations set by the government. In addition to halal inspection services, LPPOM also has the first laboratory in Indonesia that KAN accredits for halal and vegan testing. This laboratory has obtained ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
That way, you don’t need to hesitate to test the halalness of products at the LPPOM Laboratory. You can also check the list of culinary products that have been halal certified through the website www.halalmui.org, the Halal MUI application that can be downloaded on the Playstore, and the BPJPH website.
