“We need to realize that to ensure that halal products reach consumers’ hands, it involves many parties who perform very well, full of dedication, sincerity, and straightness (istiqomah).” This was conveyed by the Chairman of the MUI for Sharia and Halal Economics, K.H. Sholahudin Al Aiyub, at the 2023 LPPOM MUI Halal Award, which took place on September 4, 2023, at the IPB International Convention Center, Bogor.
“MUI appreciates all parties, especially those who are making efforts so that these halal products continue to grow and become bigger in Indonesia so that Muslim consumers in Indonesia can fulfill their rights. Namely, they consume products truly believed to be halal,” he explained.
He expressed his highest appreciation to LPPOM MUI for holding the 2023 Halal Award, which encourages, appreciates, and provides stimulation so that the halal industry continues to grow and develop better in Indonesia. Aiyub also hopes and prays that the halal industry will become the central pillar of the Indonesian economy.
“Congratulations to LPPOM MUI for holding the 2023 Halal Award, and congratulations to the recipients of the 2023 Halal Award. Hopefully, this award can encourage and provide stronger motivation to develop halal product innovations and bring success and blessings to their businesses,” said Aiyub. (*)
