Ramadan is an important momentum for all parties to reorganize things that have been going on in other months. Including LPPOM in strengthening friendships so that they can become more solid.
The Assessment Institute for Foods, Drugs, and Cosmetics (LPPOM) always strengthens the synergy of Human Resources (HR) through various forms. One of them is the LPPOM 1445 Hijriah Halal bi Halal event on April 21, 2024, at the IPB International Convention Center, Bogor. Starting from the board of directors, several guests, employees, and halal auditors gathered in this momentum.
The President Director of LPPOM, Muti Arintawati, reminded us that Ramadhan’s momentum must be a time to reorganize all intentions in working. “Hopefully, what was achieved in the blessed month of Ramadhan yesterday will be an event to spur enthusiasm, recalibrate the intention to work, and reorganize the goals of this institution. Thus, hopefully, we can continue to be steadfast in our goal since the establishment of LPPOM, which is to calm the people,” said Muti Arintawati.
On this occasion, LPPOM also officially received the Halal Inspection Body (LPH) accreditation certificate from the Halal Product Assurance Agency (BPJPH) with the number REG RI LH A-1U11000020693124. This is a new spirit for LPPOM to continue to improve its services.
“Thank you to BPJPH for trusting LPPOM as LPH through the LPH accreditation that has been issued. This is LPPOM’s capital to improve all aspects in encouraging the smooth halal certification of business actors in Indonesia. Of course, this is also to support the government’s ideals in making Indonesia the world’s halal centre,” said Muti Arintawati.
Meanwhile, the Head of BPJPH, M. Aqil Irham, said that Indonesia should be proud and grateful. Currently, the halal ecosystem in Indonesia is getting stronger and wider. This is proven by the large number of business actors who already have halal certificates, including micro, small, and medium business actors who have been able to move up a class. In addition, the number of halal auditors and LPH in Indonesia has increased, including LPPOM, which already has more than 1,000 halal auditors.
“This is a tool to make Indonesia the centre of world halal producers, as targeted by the President and Vice President. Actually, this ideal has been achieved. Indonesia has become the largest halal producer in the world, this is proven by Indonesia which has the largest number of halal product manufacturing companies compared to other countries,” explained M. Aqil Irham.
His party also emphasized that the Mandatory Halal October (WHO) 2024 is the responsibility of all parties, so efforts from all lines need to be increased. M. Aqil Irham also emphasized that the implementation of WHO 2024 will continue.
“Halal is not just administrative but also about the livelihood of the Indonesian people. Congratulations to LPPOM who has received BPJPH accreditation. Hopefully, this will be a good step for Indonesia in the future,” explained M. Aqil Irham.
This halal bihalal event was attended by more than 200 employees, auditors, and LPPOM partners who have actively contributed to the halal ecosystem. Also present were all BPJPH leaders, such as Mrs. Aminah, Head of the Halal Registration and Certification Centre, Mr. Dzikro, Head of the Halal Product Assurance Development and Supervision Centre, and Mr. Abd. Syakur, Head of the Halal Cooperation and Standardization Centre, and related BPJPH staff. LPPOM, as the first LPH in Indonesia, is open to various parties and business actors in multiple forms of collaboration to encourage the progress of the halal industry in Indonesia. More than 50,000 business actors have been certified halal through LPPOM. If your business is not one of them, you can do halal certification through LPH LPPOM.
