Ultramen has obtained a BPJPH halal certificate last October through an inspection by LPH LPPOM quickly and easily. This step was taken to improve comfort and quality for consumers.
Ultramen, one of the brands of PT Orang Sukses Grup, has pocketed a halal certificate with certificate number ID36210020536381024, which was issued on October 21, 2024, from the Halal Product Assurance Agency (BPJPH). The Assessment Institute for Foods, Drugs and Cosmetics (LPPOM) was chosen as the Halal Inspection Body (LPH), which carries out the entire halal inspection process for its products.
The symbolic handover of the halal certificate and halal logo was held on December 6, 2024 at the Ultramen One Satrio Outlet, Kuningan, South Jakarta by Hendra Utama as the representative of LPPOM management, to the Supply Chain Director of PT Orang Sukses Grup, Julius Karmana. Also present was the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of PT Orang Sukses Grup, Benny Limanto.
Hendra Utama, the representative of LPPOM management, appreciated Ultramen’s commitment and efforts to fulfil regulations by obtaining a halal certificate quickly and easily. According to him, this could not have been achieved without the commitment and hard work of the entire company team, which maintains the consistency of product halalness by implementing the Halal Product Assurance System (SJPH).
“Hopefully in the future with this halal certificate, Ultramen can grow and develop and expand its market in Indonesia and even to the global arena. Congratulations on this achievement, hopefully this can be an added value because with the halal certificate, consumers in Indonesia, who are predominantly Muslim, will feel safe and comfortable in consuming the product,” said Hendra.
Meanwhile, according to the Operational Manager of PT Orang Sukses Grup, Achmad Khadafi, the halal certificate on Ultramen products can increase awareness of ramen consumers in Indonesia. He also appreciated the Ultramen team, who had worked hard during the halal inspection process so that it could run well.
“My hope is that with Ultramen’s halal certification, we can penetrate the sales market in Jakarta and other regions in Indonesia. Thank you to LPPOM and other parties for their cooperation in the Ultramen halal certification process,” said Khadafi.
On the same occasion, the Quality Control Manager of PT Orang Sukses Grup, Iko Anggara Putra said that the halal certificate achieved was a form of Ultramen’s support and compliance with the mandatory halal regulations that the Indonesian government is intensifying. “Halal for us is not just a piece of paper, but this is part of the responsibility and commitment that needs to be maintained so that Ultramen products remain halal to maintain safety and comfort for consumers,” explained Iko.
