Antusias! 2.500+ Peserta Ikuti Webinar Cara Mudah Sertifikasi Halal Dapur MBG dalam 1 Bulan

More than 2,500 participants enthusiastically attended the “Halal in Your Hands” Webinar, held by the KPPG Bogor in collaboration with LPH LPPOM. This event explored the easy and fast way to obtain halal certification for MBG kitchens, even completing it in just one month, as a concrete step towards providing the community with halal, safe, and nutritious food.

The commitment to providing Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) that is not only healthy but also halal and of high quality continues to be strengthened. One important step in achieving this is the Webinar “Halal in Your Hands: MBG Kitchen Certification Completed in 1 Month,” which took place on October 8, 2025. This event was a collaboration between theNutrition Fulfillment Service Unit(KPPG) Bogor and LPPOM. It was attended by more than 2,500 participants online via Zoom and LPH LPPOM’s Instagram Live Streaming.

In his remarks, H. Haidir, S.Si., M.Si., Head of the Bogor KPPG, explained that the KPPG is a technical implementation unit under the National Nutrition Body (BGN), which now has a network throughout Indonesia. One of the KPPG’s main focuses is ensuring that all MBG kitchens meet two important certifications: Hygiene Sanitation (SLHS) and Halal Certification (SH).

“Through halal certification, we want to guarantee the rights of Muslim consumers to ensure that the food they consume is truly free from haram elements and complies with religious principles,” said Haidir. “For the beneficiaries of the MBG program, this is our responsibility to provide certainty and a sense of security.”

Furthermore, Haidir emphasized that halal certification also plays a strategic role in increasing public trust. “With halal certification, the public will feel calm and confident in the quality and halalness of the food served in the MBG program,” he said.

Furthermore, halal certification also has strong legal aspects. Haidir explained, “Since the enactment of the Halal Product Assurance Act (UU JPH), every food and beverage product distributed in Indonesia, including those under government programs like the MBG, is required to have a halal certificate.”

According to him, the halal label is not merely a symbol of religious belief, but also a guarantee of food safety and quality. “In the halal certification process, what is assessed is not only halal certification, but also aspects of cleanliness, sanitation, and the safety of the ingredients used. So, halal certification is comprehensive, from the ingredients to the presentation,” Haidir added.

On that occasion, Haidir expressed his appreciation to LPPOM for their synergy and support. “We thank LPPOM for their excellent collaboration, which made this activity possible. We hope that through this webinar, SPPG heads and MBG partners will gain a better understanding of the halal certification process and how to process it quickly and safely,” he said.

As a Halal Inspection Body (LPH) with more than three decades of experience, LPPOM is here to provide comprehensive guidance to those involved in the MBG program. In the webinar, LPPOM also introduced the educational program “Halal On 30” — a short, 30-minute learning session that explains the halal certification process in a practical and easy-to-understand manner. This program, accessible online through bit.ly/HalalOn30, is a simple yet effective way to strengthen the implementation of halal standards in accordance with BPJPH regulations.

In addition to Haidir, the webinar also featured nationally competent speakers in their fields: Dr. H. ABD. Syakur, S.Ag., M.Si., Deputy for Partnership and Halal Standardization at BPJPH; Prof. Dr. Ir. Siti Aida Adha Taridala, M.Si., Director of Nutritional Fulfillment Governance at the Deputy for Systems and Governance at BGN RI; and Dr. Ir. Muslich, M.Si., Director of Partnership and Halal Audit Services at LPPOM.

Through this webinar, participants gained in-depth insight into the importance of halal certification in implementing MBG, as well as the practical steps required to obtain it. The collaboration between KPPG Bogor and LPH LPPOM is expected to be a concrete example of inter-institutional synergy in supporting the implementation of halal product assurance while strengthening the free nutritious meal program that is safe, healthy, and has religious value.

With the increasingly simplified halal certification process—now even completed in just one month—the goal of providing nutritious and halal food for all Indonesians is no longer just a hope, but a reality that is being realized. (YN)
