Guardian, Toko Retail Kecantikan Pertama di Indonesia yang Bersertifikat Halal

Guardian is a leading retail store that provides consumers’ daily beauty product needs by ensuring that the halal products sold are guaranteed when they reach consumers and are not contaminated by anything that is haram and unclean. A series of halal inspection processes have been carried out quickly and easily through LPH LPPOM, so that it obtains a BPJPH halal certificate.

Enjoy shopping for beauty products? Now you should be happy. Of course, the first beauty retail store in Indonesia is now halal-certified. PT DFI Retail Nusantara Tbk has officially obtained a halal certificate ID00410021103190125, issued on February 3, 2025, from the Halal Product Assurance Agency (BPJPH). LPPOM was chosen as the Halal Inspection Body (LPH), which is trusted to handle the entire inspection process to provide beauty products from Guardian.

The symbolic handover of the halal logo was carried out by Afriansyah Noor as Deputy Head of BPJPH, to the Managing Director of Guardian Indonesia, Anna Hull and President Director of PT DFI Retail Nusantara Tbk, Hadrianus Wahyu Trikusumo and also attended by the President Director of LPPOM, Muti Arintawati which was held on March 6, 2025, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Jakarta Bintaro Jaya, South Tangerang.

Deputy Head of BPJPH, Afriansyah Noor, appreciated Guardian Indonesia’s efforts to obtain a halal certificate. He hopes this step can inspire many similar business actors to follow in Guardian’s footsteps. With the halal certificate, Guardian complies with regulations and shows concern for Muslim consumers. So, this plays a role in increasing consumer confidence in the products they use.

“With the halal certification, Muslim consumers can now be calmer and more confident in choosing the beauty products they use that are not only halal, but also safe in accordance with Islamic law. Hopefully, with this halal certificate, it can be an added value and further develop for Guardian,” said Afriansyah.

The President Director of PT DFI Retail Nusantara Tbk, Hadrianus Wahyu Trikusumo, expressed his gratitude and thanks to BPJPH and LPPOM for their cooperation during the halal certification process until the halal certificate was obtained. This is certainly a form of Guardian’s commitment and efforts in presenting the needs of Muslim consumers.

“This halal certificate is not only a symbol, but also an acknowledgment of our efforts and dedication in ensuring that every service we offer is not only of high quality but also meets the halal standards recognized by the Government. Hopefully, this halal certificate can be a good first step to continue to develop and expand our reach, so that it can be more trusted by the community and provide great benefits,” said Wahyu.

Meanwhile, Guardian Indonesia’s Managing Director, Anna Hull, expressed her gratitude and pride in achieving halal certification for providing beauty products. This is a big step in strengthening consumer trust, especially among Muslim consumers in Indonesia who prioritize halal shopping.

“With this mandatory halal policy, we hope to increase public understanding and awareness of the importance of choosing halal products. And we also hope that with the halal certificate, Guardian will be able to contribute to the quality of life and welfare of the Indonesian people,” said Anna.

In addition, the President Director of LPPOM, Muti Aintawati, expressed her appreciation to the management and Guardian team, who are very committed to achieving halal certification. This guarantees certainty and confidence that the product remains halal until it reaches the hands of consumers.

“This halal certificate is not the final step, but it is the beginning of a long journey for Guardian to continue to commit to maintaining that the halal certificate it has achieved can be accounted for to consumers,” explained Muti.
