LPPOM MUI Holds Halal Award 2023 As An Appreciation to Business Actors, Here Are the Winners!

This year, the Assessment Institute for Foods, Drugs, and Cosmetics Indonesian Council of Ulama (LPPOM MUI) held the LPPOM MUI Halal Award. This award is an appreciation LPPOM MUI gives to its partners who have halal certificates following the competition criteria. The peak event for the 2023 LPPOM MUI Halal Award Winners occurred today, September 4, 2023, at the IPB International Convention Center, Bogor. The date was chosen to commemorate the celebration of National Customer Day.

Apart from being an award for LPPOM MUI partners, the LPPOM MUI Halal Award aims to increase the confidence of halal-certified companies to compete in national and international markets. The Community is also expected to pay more attention to consuming quality halal products.

The President Director of LPPOM MUI, Muti Arintawati, explained that the 2023 LPPOM MUI Halal Award was held in several activities starting in June 2023. First, the 2023 LPPOM MUI Halal Award Kick-Off was held on Monday, June 12, 2023. This event was with the activities-related webinar, “Update on Halal Certification Information in the Post-Pandemic Era,” to LPPOM MUI partners.

Second, the LPPOM MUI Halal Award 2023 launch to the public was held on Saturday, July 29, 2023. The activity included the opening of voting for the Favorite Halal Brand category. In this activity, LPPOM MUI invited LPPOM MUI partner companies to submit the Best Social Contribution for the Halal Ecosystem category requirements. The final series closed with the peak ceremony of awarding the LPPOM MUI Halal Award winners.

“We really expect that business actors who receive the 2023 LPPOM MUI Halal Award will continue to be enthusiastic about providing quality halal products. “Last but not least, as the first Halal Inspection Body in Indonesia, LPPOM MUI will continue to strive to accompany and provide solutions to all LPPOM MUI partner business actors,” explained Muti Arintawati.
