Bogor (30/6). Once pessimistic about the government's target of 10 million halal certified products this year, finally believed that the target was achieved by looking at the readiness of LPPOM MUI and its existence spread across 34 provinces throughout Indonesia.
Muhammad Yuga Purnama, a postgraduate student of UIN Sunan Kalijaga, Yogyakarta, revealed this during a visit to the Global Halal Center Building on June 30, 2022. The phrase was made after listening to an explanation related to the Development of Halal Certification from Raafqi Ranasasmita, Corporate Secretary Manager of LPPOM MUI.
With the decline in pandemic status, LPPOM MUI is now reopening visits to people who want to know and learn about halal certification and its development, even by limiting the number and age of participants who visit.
In addition to getting an explanation related to LPPOM MUI, the participants had the opportunity to conduct a virtual tour of the LPPOM MUI Lab to find out the various laboratory facilities and services owned.
"We have a special package for the research of lecturers and students, please for those who want to eliminate further research related to halal or food safety," M said. Nashih Ulwan, QA Specialist Laboratory LPPOM MUI.
